Nadine continues to doodle very prolifically. Her latest, a fashion spread ....

Aaron's rendition of Flashlight

The kids watched Pitch Perfect, and loved it. They loved the singing and dancing, and have been imitating the performances.

It's amazing how well they can remember the lyrics just from listening, especially Aaron. He's only 4!

New dishwasher

Aaron is suddenly into helping to do household chores, especially washing the dishes. Not sure if it's influence from Jie-Jie, or something he learnt from water play in school. But it sure is good that they're not shunning such chores and are willing to help out at home.

 

The cutest part is how he climbs up to reach the tap to turn on the water. So smart!

Of course, he also enjoys playing with the soapy water

LSK Concert 2015

The long-awaited annual school concert. This year is especially significant because it's Nadine's last LSK concert. Our firstborn is graduating and will be going to primary school next year! And Aaron will be going to K1. How time flies!

The kids had been looking forward to the concert, but wouldn't practise in front of us. Said it's a secret. They have only been singing one of their combined performance songs, 脚步.

On Tuesday night, Nadine came down with a fever of 39 degrees Celsius. It subsided during the night, but came back again in the morning. I was so worried that she wouldn't be able to recover in time for the concert that night. Fed her medicine to try and prayed hard that fever will at least subside from 6-9pm.  She's a real trooper. Tahan through the whole concert and put up a spectacular performance.

Didn't manage to get a good video of her class performance coz she was in the back row. But Aunty Wendy captured a nice shot of them.

Aaron put up a stupendous performance too. And he looked like he was enjoying himself so much.

By the end of the night, Nadine's fever was back at 39. We rushed home so that she could take her medicine and rest. So didn't take any photos of her with her friends. Must try and do that on her last day of school.

So this is almost the end of Nadine's pre-school education. She's had a wonderful time at LSK, a place that gave the children plenty of room to develop their creativity, imagination, and godly values; and a place where she received lots of love and learnt how to love. I hope she'll be able to enjoy her primary school journey as much as she enjoyed her kindy journey!

The drawing bug hits Aaron

Since 2 weeks ago, Aaron started to doodle, and now, whenever he has a pen/pencil and paper in his hands, he'll be doodling, like his Jie-Jie.

This is his drawing of our family. As he drew, he mumbled that he's not very good yet .....

A stingray that has eaten 3 fish

It's fun to see him drawing, with a face of intent, and more fun to see him presenting his pictures and telling us what they mean. Very cute. 

The Wedding

The kids decided to organise a wedding for Daddy and I.

Nadine was my stylist ....

Aaron was the pageboy but I didn't get a photo of him with his blanket-ring-pillow ...

And they chose Barney to be  our wedding minister, and brought along their friends to attend the wedding.

Aaron at the dentist

Last month, Aaron complained of a toothache for a few days. So off we went to Dr Somu.

Turned out that it was his permanent tooth pushing its way out, and strangely, after the dental visit, he did not complain about it again. Good therapy.

But I'm also happy that he was very cooperative at the dentist. No struggle, no tears. My boy has grown up.
