The Gans came to visit on Day 3. Gerald and Marcus were really sweet, and Marcus picked a pair of cute pink shoes for Nadine. As they looked at Nadine, all-swaddled, Marcus asked me innocently, "Does she have legs?"
So farnie! I answered, "Yes! She's not Ponyo!
Ponyo is the baby fish in the sea that becomes a little girl in Hayao Miyazaki's new cartoon, "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea". Daddy and Mummy had gone to watch it last week. And now, the more we look at Nadine, the more we think she looks like Ponyo!
