Crying to Sleep

After the first 3 weeks of being an angel baby who can easily go to sleep by herself, Nadine has now started to cry before sleeping. Actually, more like wail.

Daddy and Mummy have been trying all kinds of tricks - carry, walk, rock, pat, sing .... all work well until we put her down onto her cot.

This week, Mummy decided to go the "cruel" way - let her cry it out. As advised by many experienced parents, Nadine is supposed to eventually learn to soothe herself, go to sleep herself, and in the process, learn to be more independent. But boy, can she cry!

She cried for 20 min and 30 min before various naps yesterday. Today, she cried for a whole hour before her morning and early evening naps.

BUT, right now, 11pm, after her night feed, she's quietly lying in her cot. Pray, pray!!!
