Nadine was super cranky last nite. Refused to sleep, and woke up several times during the nite crying. She also felt warmer than usual, tho she didn't have a high temperature. Mummy thot she could be cutting her 1st tooth, therefore the discomfort and crankiness.This morning, Mummy found Nadine covered with rashes all over her body! Heat rash? Eczema? Measles? Viral infection? Panic, panic. Off to the good Uncle Dr Kevin we went.
Uncle Dr Kevin diagnosed it as a viral infection, and suspected that Nadine had already fought off the virus, without getting a fever. The rashes usually come after the fever and should only stay for 2-3 days.
Relief. But will have to monitor Nadine for any fever or other development over the next few days.
This is Nadine's first "illness". So far, in the last 6 months, she's been super healthy, and had even withstood 2 bouts of flu from Daddy and Mummy. Strong girl!
