Last week's super-terrible haze kept the kids at home the whole week. So on Saturday evening, when the sky suddenly cleared out and there was hardly any smell of smoke in the air, we rushed out to the Night Safari.
Nadine had been pestering to go to the Night Safari, so she was really happy about this outing. Both kids behaved like they'd just been let out of their cage.
It was probably the best zoo visit we ever had. The place was not crowded at all. We did not have to queue to buy tickets, nor to get on the tram. Only crowd that we encountered was at the animal show, and most of the crowd there were tourists. Bonus - there was a gentle breeze throughout the night. What a pleasant experience!
The kids enjoyed themselves enormously, and were totally tired out by the time we home. But very happy.
