We went to SAF50@Vivo last Friday, and had a blast.
Aaron enjoyed the outing the most.
He got to wear a Navy uniform and play with some (fake) rifles ....
Go on the submarine ....
Ride on the police bike ....
Go on the Navy ship Endurance and sit in the Super Puma ....
Pretend to be the Super Puma pilot ....
And ride on the Fast Craft Utility (FCU).
We were totally impressed by how well-organised and well-run the event was. The organisers paid attention to so many details. And most of all, the Navy aunties and uncles were so warm, friendly and patient with the kids. For eg, while waiting to board the FCU, a Navy uncle voluntarily lent Aaron his shades, just for fun. They made the whole outing so enjoyable!
