This year's Chinese New Year was very muted for us, because Gong Gong had passed on a week before, after a short battle with cancer.
We were not supposed to celebrate CNY, but we still gathered as family. We probably spent more extended family time this year than all other years combined!
And we still managed to take our usual CNY family photo, for the album.
