What we did during the circuit breaker

Circuit breaker lasted from 7 April to 19 June. I didn't take many photos of what we did during those 2 1/2 months, but here are some of the things we did while being stuck at home all the time.

Home-based learning together with work from home

Home-based learning included PE, which Nadine skipped totally, and Aaron only did a few times

Everything went online, including Nadine's ballet class

Over the first month, we added a workstation with large monitor, adjustable desk, new Mac, speakers, fatigue mat and other small gadgets. While I attended many of my meetings in t-shirt and shorts, James had to dress up for his .... well not fully though.

Amazingly, our cell recorded much better attendance than before. Besides cell meetings on Sundays, we zoomed to pray, play and work out too!

Aaron spent too much time playing on the ipad, and occasionally, when I confiscate the ipad, he'd build something

Aaron built this flower for me for Mothers' Day

To get Aaron off the gadget, we competed on our shooting skills

Nadine discovered old-school games on the internet, which we all enjoyed

She also baked a lot

And painted

Also tried to keep the kids occupied by getting them to help with household chores. Lasted for only a day though :-(

We ordered lots of takeaways

And received gifts of love from family and friends

I finally went for a hair-cut after 3 months. New norm at my hairdresser's - all covered, took 5 min to get me ready for the hair cut.

But seemed it was only my hairdressers. The boys had a fuss-free hair-cut.

Aside from marketing and grocery-shopping, I went out for daily walks/runs, just to get out of the house, and I visited my mum weekly, to bring her groceries, medicines, etc. James hardly went out, Nadine maybe twice, and Aaron, none.

Those 2 1/2 months of circuit breaker will be etched in our minds. Definitely not something that we want to go through again!
