Nadine has found a new source of comfort - her thumb and fingers. Since Mummy stopped wearing mittens for her, she's been sucking on her thumb and fingers whenever she's sleepy, hungry, and in her sleep.
A few times, she'll be sucking her fingers and thumb, one by one, savouring them, as she wakes up slowly for her feed. After a while, she'll somehow realise that her tiny hand does not produce any milk, and will start crying for her milk bar.
Mummy makes a mental note to wean Nadine off her pacifier when she turns 2, or thereabouts la .... before it becomes a lifelong habit!
