Nadine went overseas for her 1st time last week - to the church leaders' camp in KL. It was her 1st church camp as well.
For 4 days, she was cared for full-time by Daddy and Mummy. No Bibi. Nadine was very cooperative. Of course she was a little cranky every now and then, and she also grew bored easily and quickly during sermon time (everybody seated, nobody play with her - boring mah!). She was also too distracted to nap during the day. But there was no screaming and wailing from over-tiredness or over-stimulation. She'd gwai gwai go to bed every night. And most amazingly, she slept through Holy Spirit Night in her pram! Daddy said God must have knocked her out so that Daddy and Mummy can enjoy the night!
Overall, it was a pretty good experience for Daddy and Mummy. Can plan for a trip further away!
Waiting for departure in church
1st part of the journey from church to Tuas checkpoint, Nadine sat quietly Uncle Joe and Auntie Pek Cheng.
Sleeping on Mummy
Nadine also went for her 1st dip in the pool at the hotel! She was a bit nervous. Didn't seem to enjoy "swimming" as much as she enjoys showering.
On Daddy's shoulder
1st time being carried by Uncle Joe Chow. And it was also the first time Uncle Joe had carried a baby as young as Nadine!
Nadine with her new hat. Mummy was more excited about the hat than Nadine was.
Journey back to Singapore - Nadine became really restless halfway through. Auntie Jasmine tried to hypnotize her to make her go to sleep. And it worked! Or maybe she was just too tired after being passed round the bus for different people to entertain her.
