Nadine's 1st chalet cum bbq

And all she did was stay in the air-con room, away from the smoke, heat, humidity and dirty hands. She played with Uncle Sean, Auntie Lala and Auntie Emelyn. Mummy had called them Gor-Gor and Jie-Jie. But Lala said they're 20 years older than Nadine. Enough to be called Auntie and Uncle. Never known anyone who is so eager to be called Auntie/Uncle!

Chalet cum bbq is such a Singaporean thing. I'm sure Nadine will have many more chalet cum bbq outings in her life.

   

Auntie Lala was great at entertaining Nadine, while Auntie Emelyn held her. But she soon became tired, sleepy, and cranky. In Daddy's arms, she was happy again. Auntie Emelyn was baffled by how fast Nadine's mood can change. Babies are just so honest and straight-forward - happy or sad. No hiding, no guessing, unlike adults.
