Istana Open House

We went to the Istana Open House on 30 July with Yi-Ma and Jie-Jie Joelle. It was the first time all the rest of them stepped into the Istana. 

I had performed at the Istana with Crescent band when I was in Sec 1, when been there for President's Challenge Appreciation Ceremony.

It was a huge place with beautifully-manicured fields and gardens. Aaron loved running in the field, although it was very hot. And surprisingly, the kids were very fascinated with all the gifts given to Singapore Presidents by various countries.

There was an Arts & Heritage Village which had activities for the kids. Nadine and Aaron took a long time to color their kerongsang and haj belt.

Although we didn't do very much at Istana, and walked a lot in the hot sun, both kids seemed to like the outing a lot. Aaron even said that it was a great day out!
