Nadine went for her 1st Children's Encounter Camp a few weeks ago.
Last year, she didn't want to go because she said she didn't want to sleep somewhere else without us. But this year, she was so excited about the camp, she packed her luggage 2 weeks before the camp, diligently got us to do the pre-camp devotions with her, and couldn't wait to get out of the house on the camp day.
Of course, we were nervous about whether she would be ok or not. Could she sleep? Will she be scared? Will she be able to shower properly, and not get all her clothes wet? Will she eat well?
Our worries were unfounded. She had a couple of hiccups, but otherwise, absolutely fine, and had definitely enjoyed herself. In fact, she now can't wait for next year's Encounter Camp!
Very happy that she enjoyed the camp, and sure hope she'll continue to enjoy encountering God in all kinds of activities, camps and occasions!
