On May Day, we went to Gardens by the Bay to see the Tulipmania. The place was so crowded, we had to queue for half an hour to get into the car park, and another half an hour to buy tickets to get into the Flower Dome.
Inside the Flower Dome, it was nothing like the pretty photos that we'd seen of the Tulipmania ads. The entire place was packed out, and the tulips were already in full bloom, with some looking really tired.
At one point, while we were negotiating our way through the throngs of people, Nadine ran away from us, and got lost. I panicked. Ran around to look for her while Daddy and Aaron waited at the spot where we lost her. Good thing we did that, because Nadine did retrace back to the spot.
According to Daddy, she looked calm when she was walking back. But the moment she saw Daddy, she ran to him and burst out crying.
Daddy's conclusion: Nadine can handle stress pretty well, and knows how to stay calm in such situations.
We're proud of her, but are definitely not happy with her running off like that!
