After 2 days of "no scary symptoms of anything serious" from his fall, Aaron's left should swelled up on Monday afternoon, and he had restricted movement on the arm. So we rushed him to KKH that evening.
The x-ray showed that Aaron has broken his collar bone. Poor baby. No wonder he kept pointing to his left shoulder and say it's painful!
But, thank God it's only the collar bone. As the A&E doctor who attended to Aaron said - collar bone breakage is the most benign of all bone breakages, coz it's only there for structure, and is not an essential bone for support or movement.
However, it will take a while to heal. And in fact, in 2-3 weeks' time, his shoulder will develop a swell again, indicating that the bone is healing. Poor Aaron will have to wear a sling for the time being. But he's such a trooper. Still chirpy, unless he accidentally bumps his left shoulder.
The A&E at KKH was packed, and there was a notice at various points which stated that the minimum waiting time was 4 hours! We were quite prepared for a long night. But amazingly, we were in and out within an hour! I can't think of why Aaron got that special fast-pass. He's not the youngest person there, nor the most seriously-ill/injured. Must be God's grace!

Gah, I am so bad at keeping up with the social media. To think that I mentioned about reading your blog (some time ago actually) and ranted to you about the dentist when you were so busy with Aaron's broken collar. I hope he feels better soon. -Wendy
