Sep 2013 holiday - Central Public Library

1st day of the school holiday, we went to the Central Public Library.

Coincidentally, there was an art installation piece outside the library entrance, which allowed the public to draw whatever they want on a screen, and the image will subsequently appear on a big pseudo-pond projection screen. The kids had fun doodling, and seeing their doodle appear on the "pond".

They enjoyed themselves even more in the children's section of the library, which had a tree house, as well as little chairs that became rocking chairs when flipped on their front.

The kids liked the library a lot because it was decorated with so many fun things. But, I wonder how the library staff expect children to play there without raising their voices!

After the library, we went for a movie - Planes. Of all the movies that the kids have watched at the cinema so far, this must be the most boring one. Not much action. Good but predictable storyline of how if you work hard enough and persevere, you can achieve your dream. Nadine felt asleep 3/4 through, while Aaron became very restless and kept walking about. Don't think they were impressed by the lessons at all!
