This little boy is 4 going on 14! While he's still very small size (and he asked Daddy the other day, "why am I still so small when I eat so much?"), he speaks, questions and argues like a big boy. It's amazing how much his little brain absorbs and processes. He's such a joy to have a conversation with.
We threw a party for him last Saturday, inviting the usual birthday party gang - church friends whom he's growing up with, and whose parents I'd grown up with.
We held the party at Happy Willow, an indoor playground at OneKM Mall. It was an easy and lazy option. No need to organise special activities nor games. The kids went crazy playing catching, monsters and hide & seek there.
Then feed them ....
Sing birthday song, cut cake, and release them back to the playground while the parents go off to lunch at Fika Cafe next door. Kids enjoy themselves and expend their energy, while parents have a good time chatting and catching up.
Aaron, you've brought so much joy to the family. You're Daddy's best buddy, and Mummy's little teddy. We love you so much! We pray that God will keep you and nurture you, and raise you up to be a wise and faithful servant of His!
