Last term, after the March holidays, Nadine was super adversed to school. And the weird thing was, she'd happily dress for school, but the moment we reach school, it would be a major exercise trying to get her into the multi-purpose hall. And she often asked if she had school the next day. If she did, she'd give a disappointed look.
So I was gearing myself up for a worse nightmare after the June holidays. But aside from the 1st day, when she hesitated for 5 seconds before going into the hall, she's been strolling in every day since. And she seems to be enjoying school a lot, even her Chinese lessons!
Last Thursday, she was a bit feverish in the morning, and very dull. She still insisted on going to school, which, I guess, is a good sign.
So just like that, she mysteriously and miraculously snapped out of her anti-school mode.
