The last time (and first time) Nadine visited a dentist was a year ago. So in the last few months, I've said to her, every now and then, that we need to go to the dentist. She's been resistant, until Sunday, she told me that her teeth is "tickling her". I asked her if it's painful, and she said yes. But when I checked, there were no shaky teeth. Still, I quickly scrambled to find a dentist.
Decided not to go back to Straits Dental, as it's expensive. But all the dental clinics in our neighbourhood do not open at night. Then saw on the Q&M website that they have a kid's room. Thought that would lower Nadine's resistance. And most Q&M that I've seen look "normal" and not so atas.
Lo and behold, when we turned up at the Q&M at City Square Mall, it had a huge reception area, and a massage chair! And a kids' play corner which the kids enjoyed, while we waited about half an hour for the dentist.
The dentist that saw Nadine was very skillful, and good with kids. Except he talked too much.
By the time the dentist was done cleaning her teeth, she's had enough, and wouldn't lie down any more to do the fillings. So we have to go back .... hopefully not too many times!

Nadine has 5 cavities and worms in her mouth! One main culprit - the milk bottle, and of course, candies. In addition, she's probably inherited my bad gum genes. So all the more, she'll need to take very good care of her pearly whites!

The bill came up to $160 for consultation, scaling and consumerables. Sigh ... at least it was a pretty happy place for Nadine!
