The kids spent their 1st week of school holiday at home. They didn't even get many opportunities to play downstairs because it's been raining. But thank God they love being at home, and are quite good at entertaining themselves. Nadine would draw endlessly, and Aaron's happy just playing with all his vehicles. Of course, they want quite a bit of tv too.
So on Saturday, we decided to bring them out. We did the touristy thing of taking the duck tour. Aaron was so excited he didn't even want ice-cream before that!
It was quite a nice ride, especially when it's in the river. We got to see the Singapore Flyer, Gardens by the Bay, Marina Barrage, Marina Bay Sands and the CBD areas from totally different angles.
I was surprised that Nadine was actually paying attention to the tour guide. At various points, she asked me questions, to clarify what the guide was saying. Impressed with my little girl!
After the ride, it was shopping time! Both kids got their Christmas presents from us and MaMa. They were allowed to open 1 present, and agreed to let the other present be wrapped up and placed under the Christmas tree till Christmas Day. And since Saturday, Aaron has been asking when is Christmas!
