Both kids brought back their Term 4 reports earlier this week.
For Nadine, I'm happy to see that she's gotten an "S" for her ability to write Chinese characters. That's a great improvement from Term 3! From not wanting to learn Chinese, to being willing to try and speak and read, and more importantly, diligently doing her Chinese writing homework without me having to nag at her - she's really come a long way with her Chinese. I'm proud of her .... although I'm still in two minds on whether to send her to Berries or not!
Also very proud and happy that "she is very focused in carrying out her tasks and persistent in producing high standards in her works". That's the spirit of excellence we really would like the kids to have! Doesn't matter whether they are 1st in class or not, what matters is that they are serious about producing good work!
Oh, very happy that she's "made progress in being attentive during lessons" too!
Aaron has also made good progress. He scored "S" for "I care for toys and school materials" and "I sing familiar Chinese songs", an improvement from last semester. Hopefully, he will continue to enjoy Chinese!
The part about him contributing to class discussions - I like, but I'm also hoping he's not overly talkative in class!
