End of 2018 school term

The 2018 school term finally came to an end in November. The kids (and the parents) were so happy to not have to wake up early, have to do homework, and study for 听写.

All smiles on the last day of school.

Nadine did pretty well. Her Science results dropped though, coz she was totally complacent, thinking that since she topped her class for Science in Semester 1, she didn't have to study for the subject. She certainly learnt her lesson!

Going through her worksheets, it was interesting to see how she injected her own style into even her book review and social studies.
 .

And she continues to draw and doodle. Love her sense of colours.

We were not surprised that Aaron did really well for his English and Math ..... Chinese was another story. Both his form and Chinese teachers were concerned of how his Chinese results are pulling his overall results down. What a waste, they say. We tell him that too, so Daddy has dangled a big carrot for him to improve his Chinese next year. Hope it'll work!

He showed his character, candidness and interests through his work too.

He was, of course, very proud to be rewarded for his hard work throughout the year. I think that's one thing that Montford does really well - giving the boys a sense of achievement.

And it definitely was heartwarming to know he knows he has a loving family!
