This was the view that greeted us the next day - it had snowed in the wee hours of the morning, and the roads and hills were all covered with snow.
The 2 fathers and older boys happily rushed off for their ski lessons, while the rest of us took our own sweet time to get ready for snow play.
The kids were dressed up in their rented ski suits, which Nadine said made her look like a farmer. But so cute la!
We didn't have to go far to play with snow. The pathways just outside our hotel was filled with snow! We had a fun time playing there.
Aaron was really intrigued by the snow. He kept licking them! Guess he wanted to see what's the difference between snow and ice!
His hands are so small it was really hard to wear his gloves for him ... and they keep falling out. But he never learnt his lesson - each time a glove fell out, he'd still continue to play, until his hand became unbearably painful, then he'd cry, "my hand, my hand!"
The 3 little tots, having a swinging time
After about an hour of snow play, the adults had had enough. We sought refuge at Burger King, while waiting for the guys to come back from their ski lessons.
The plan was that after lunch, we'd go back to the hotel to rest a bit, and for the kids to nap. After the nap, we'd go to the Alice-in-the-Wonderland-themed Kids World at the mall. But by the time we woke up and got to Kids World, it was half an hour before closing, so they wouldn't allow us in. Nadine was soooo disappointed. We promised her that we'd go there tomorrow.
Although we couldn't go to Kids World, there were other kiddy rides that we could do at the mall. Such as this bumble bee:
And the carousel
There was also a bumper car ride that Nadine absolutely loved. Added lots of her screams for sound effect too.
There are about 6 restaurants at the resort .... all but 1 sold Korean food, which we were getting a bit sick of. Not very exciting variety. Therefore, no photos of our meals at the resort!
