Christmas Eve 2014

Last year's Christmas eve, we had to attend 2 dinners - 1 with our cell, and another, our traditional PMS Christmas eve dinner.

We went to the cell dinner first before going to the Chuas'. There were tonnes of food at both places, but what was better than food was the fellowship, especially with PMS, coz the group doesn't get together as often anymore. So any gatherings is precious.

As usual, Aunty Lydia made sure there's something extra special for the kids. This year, they made a gingerbread house!

The kids helped to stick the candies on the house enthusiastically ... and also very patiently .... waiting for the moment when the house will be completed, and they can eat the candies!

By the time the gingerbread house was done, it was close to midnight. We've always stayed till midnight to wish each other Merry Christmas, and to give and open our presents.

When we finally left for home, the kids were bushed. Both fell asleep in the car within minutes.

It's wonderful to be able to celebrate Christmas with a group of wonderful old friends ... after so many years. I hope the kids will continue the tradition as they grow up together!
