SEA Aquarium

On Saturday, we went to the SEA Aquarium. Haven't been there in a while, and the kids were really excited. They wanted to see if the jellyfish, stingray and sharks had grown up!

I'm still amazed that every time we come here, Nadine would ask to take a photo with these 2 wayang mannequins. She's not scared of them at all.

The moment we got into the aquarium, she asked for Daddy's phone, and started shooting away.

Aaron was inspired to take photos too, and he hijacked my phone for most of our time in the aquarium. And his photos were quite good!

His composition was pretty good! He seemed to prefer to take photos rather than to be taken!

It wasn't too crowded, so we even queued up to touch the starfish and sea cucumber.

Aaron was absolutely fascinated by the sharks and manta ray, while Nadine loved the jellyfish. She's now even old enough to participate in a quiz about the corals. Of course the incentive for her were the stamps that she could get on her quiz sheet. But I'm just happy that she was keen enough to do it.

While there aren't any new exhibits at the aquarium, the kids are a bit older, and more curious about things each time we return. They are also able to observe and ask more questions. And now that Nadine's beginning to read, she's learning more too. So the SEA Aquarium is a place worth repeat visits!
