Goodbye Gold Coast!

Our flight back was 9am, meaning we had to leave for the airport at 6am. Although the sky was already bright at 5am, it was still tough to drag the kids out of bed, especially after such a tiring week.

The return flight was way more pleasant than the flight to Gold Coast. And this trip, we achieved a major milestone - both Nadine and Aaron were super easy to manage on the flights. No fuss, no crying, no tantrum. Both slept a lot, and were contented with their iPads. Daddy's now inspired to go even further for our next holiday!

Another milestone for this trip - Nadine and Ethan could totally get along! They hardly fought, shared things, chatted happily, and played really well. They've certainly grown up!

Overall, despite not being able to visit as many places as we'd initially planned to (no winery since we couldn't rent a car), it was still a good trip with something for everyone. But definitely too short. We were not ready to come home! Next vacation has to be longer!
