More shopping on Day 6!
1st, something for the kids - a tram ride. The boys had been asking to ride on the tram since Day 1, so they were really thrilled to finally go on it.
Carrara Markets was quite a disappointment. Didn't have as much local art and craft and designer stuff that I was hoping to see, except for this interesting shawl shop.
Only person who bought something from Carrara was Daddy - a bottle of health supplement. There wasn't even a nice restaurant for lunch. We went back to Pacific Fair (again) for lunch as it was just 5 min drive away. But we didn't realise that Pacific Fair didn't have any proper restaurants too! Had a quick lunch and then Gong Gong KK and the Gans decided to go back to Harbour Town for their unfinished business, while we went to Robina Town Centre, as recommended by our taxi driver.
Robina Town Centre was much bigger than Pacific Fair, and had more exciting shops. Daddy even found T2, an excellent Australian tea brand.
They had a cute prettily-decorated caravan parked outside the mall and the kids happily hopped in and asked to take photos.
After hours of very tiring shopping, we regrouped with Gong Gong KK and the Gans back at the apartment, before heading out to Chiangmai Thai Restaurant for dinner. The restaurant has many good reviews on Tripadvisor, but our conclusion was that most of the reviewers who gave good feedback about it were not Asians!
After dinner, we went back to our apartment to pack our luggages, and then chatted over fruits and wine, while the kids played, for 1 last night.
