In preparation for P1, I asked Nadine if she'd like to chop off her hair. To my surprise, she agreed readily, and pestered me for the next 2 weeks about bringing her to cut her hair. I was dreading, she was anticipating. So I finally brought her.
Throughout the whole haircut, she stared intently at the mirror, watching her little transformation. When it's done, she smiled at herself, so pleased with the new look. And my little 6-year-old looks like a 16-year-old now.
