For our year-end holiday last year, we went to Taiwan with the Gans minus Uncle Mel who had to work, and Gong Gong KK.
The kids had been looking forward to this holiday, and were thrilled right from the start, at Changi Airport, when they saw the Star Wars exhibits.
We took Eva Air for the first time, and were pleasantly surprised by the spacious seats, and quality of its service and food.
We rented an apartment in Taipei through Airbnb - our first time using Airbnb, and it was a good experience. The apartment was exactly what we saw in the photos. It was clean, well-equipped, and had everything we needed: 3 bedrooms, 2 of which had 2 queen-sized beds, kitchen, washing machine and 2 bathrooms. 3 bathrooms would be great, but that's quite hard to find.

The location was excellent - centrally located in 大安 district, surrounded by eateries and shops, near Sogo and the MRT station. Wouldn't mind going back there again.
